BiographyRalph H. Brown age 87 a longtime resident of Aldan passed away on Jan. 5, 2012 surrounded by his family. A U.S. Army Veteran, serving in the 1st infantry during WWII, landing on Omaha Beech on D-Day and receiving a Bronze Star during the battle of the Bulge. After the war, Ralph worked for the Pennsylvania Railroad where he retired from Conrail in 1984. Ralph was a member of F&AM Lodge Lansdowne No. 711 and a Shriner. He also was a Past President of the Westinghouse Square Club. A longtime member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Folcroft , he was also a member of the American Legion Post #805. Predeceased by one brothers and two sisters Survivors: Beloved husband of Lucille Brown Loving father of John (Beth) Brown and Priscilla Brown Cherished Grandfather of Donna, Diane and John, Great Grandfather of 9 and Great Great Grandfather of 2. Also survived by one sister, nieces and nephews. Funeral Service: Wed. 11AM at St. John's Lutheran Church, Glen & Folcroft Ave. Folcroft, PA 19032. Viewing: Tues. 6-8PM at McCausland Garrity Funeral Home, 202 S. Chester Pike Glenolden, PA. 19036 and Wednesday 10-11AM at the church. Burial: Glenwood Memorial Gardens, Broomall. PA.
