Obituary of Lawrence J. O'Neill

Lawrence J. O'Neill, 66, of Prospect Park, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 3, 2022 surrounded by family.

Larry was born April 9, 1955 in Philadelphia. He graduated from Bartram High School in 1974 and proudly served his country in the US Army. After the military he worked as a contractor for many years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a devoted family man, married to Patricia (Patty) for 34 years and loved nothing more than spending time with his many grandchildren.

Anyone who genuinely knew Larry knew he was the one who would be there for you no matter what the circumstance.

Survived by his loving wife: Patricia O'Neill (nee Kimpel), children: Jennifer Kimble, Tommy Kimble, Linda Stockett (nee Kimble) and Leah Hartzel (nee O'Neill), cherished grandchildren: Kyle, Kyla, Tyler, Austin, Brandon, Brian, Joseph, Paige, Audrina, Catie and Jaxson, dear son of Delores O'Neill (nee Stompf), brothers: John (Linda), Franny, Joseph, Patrick, Stevie (Jason), sisters: Renee Bradley (Turk), Peggy, Kitty, Suzie Johnston (Butch). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

He was predeceased by his father Bernard O'Neill, father in law James Kimpel, brother Danny O'Neill, sister Lori O'Neill, and son in law Chuck Stockett IV.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 8,2022 at 9:30am at St. Gabriel's Church, 233 Mohawk Avenue, Norwood PA. Funeral mass will be held at 10:30am. Burial will be at SS Peter Paul Cemetery, 1600 S Sproul Road, Springfield, PA.
