Carole A. McKay, age 58 of Delaware County, passed away suddenly on September 22, 2022 after a long journey where she was continuously challenged with multiple health complications that she fearlessly battled until her last breath, never putting life and all its pleasures on hold. Carole worked as an IT Technician for most of her career, most recently Alarm Connections. She loved lady bugs, crafting, country music, camping and collecting recipe books. Most importantly, she loved nothing more than spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She had an infectious laugh, an always optimistic outlook on life, and fought a tenacious fight against her many health challenges. She is predeceased by her parents Walter and Carol Braunle. Survivors: Beloved Mother of Kristen McKay, Eric (Tiffany) McDougall, Sarah (Michael) Gallo, and Brittany McDougall, Loving partner and love of her life Robert "My Bubby" Hamrick and his children Matthew (Bri) and Robert (Natalie) Hamrick, Cherished Mommom of Christian, Ayce, Mia, Lucas, Dominic, Vincent, Rocco, Anthony, Kylie, Paisley, and Brynlee, dear sister of Sharon (James) Trader and Christmas Collins, as well as many nieces, nephews, family, and dear friends. Her children will remember her most for her warrior spirit, sense of humor and the many roles she played in their lives. The memories they share will keep her alive in their hearts. Visitation: 11AM-12PM on Friday 9/30 at McCausland Garrity Marchesani Funeral Home, Glenolden PA Memorial Service: 12PM on Friday 9/30 at the funeral home Burial: Private
